Industrial Printing
We offer in-house capabilities to build film positives, cliches, screens and other printing media from your supplied artwork. Fixtures, and precise set-ups that will produce markings to the highest tolerances in the industry can also be produced frequently in house.
Screen printing, also known as silk screening or serigraphy, is a stencil-based printing technique that involves forcing ink through a prepared screen of porous material, to create a single-color image or pattern on a surface. By offering screen printing, we are able to apply graphics such as company logos, product identifiers, labels, etc. to your parts. Typical screen-printing inks used by Empire include, but are not limited to epoxy, enamel, and vinyl.
Pad printing or Tampo printing is an indirect printing process where ink is transferred from an engraved plate by a silicon pad to an object. As the silicon pad is soft and flexible often this is the best method to print a 3-d or textured object. Example: an object like a golf ball being a dimpled sphere can be printed.
